The Wireless are a Plymouth-based 3-piece who specialise in playing acoustic interpretations of classic tunes from the last 40 years and self penned original lively acoustic tunes.  Audiences across the south-west have been consistently amazed and delighted over the past 12 months by the awesomely powerful sound the band is capable of creating.  By combining three-part harmonies, a drum-kit that also incorporates congas and assorted percussion along with driving bass and wah-wah driven acoustic guitar, it’s easy to close your eyes and imagine there are 6 people on stage.
The Wireless have already become firm favourites in Plymouth venues such as The Cooperage, The Thistle Park and The Junction as well appearing regularly throughout Cornwall at venues such as The Watering Hole (Perranporth) and The Barley Sheaf (Liskeard).   Appearances last summer at the Maker, Calstock and Devonport Festivals alongside bands such as Diamond Geezers, Too Hot and Mad Dog McCrea have cemented their reputation as one of the hottest tickets on the local live circuit at the moment.
