The Red Army are a five piece indie/folk/rock band from Truro. They formed a little over a year ago and play mostly original songs, occasionally adding covers to their live sets. They have released one demo CD called "One Way Ticket". The band consist of two female singers that usually sing in harmony, one of whome plays piano, a violinist, a guitarist and "possiby the loudest drummer in Cornwall".

Unheard Songs-This is the first proper recording from The Red Army, way back in September 2004, and was written by guitarist Philip Burley and lead singer Rachel Shepherd. It remains one of thei most popular to this day. It also appears on the bands only officially released album, "One Way Ticket".
The Jewish Child-This is a rough mix of a song the band are still recording. It was written by guitarist Philip Burley, though some parts were improvised in the recording to add to the feel of the song. It may appear on the bands forthcoming EP in 2006.
