Biography / further info
Hidden Appeal began in 2002 when the minds of Dom Wilson and Tom Carne came together, they began to write songs and decided to form a punk band. They quickly got Jamie Wright as their bass player who in turn found Will Penrose to play the drums. From the first practice things just seemed to fit and work well so they started to write more songs and put a demo cd together, it was called "Demo". With this the band got gigs in Truro and Falmouth and the Cyder farm! They then went back into the studio to record an E.P, they named it "Growing up Falling down". This was put on hold for a long time after it was finished for various complicated reasons, but it is coming out soon so stay tuned to hear more about it. Most recently they have played in The Swan Battle of the bands, competing with bands from devon and cornwall. They reached 3rd place overall out of 40 bands. H.A have been playing return gigs in The Swann (Truro) and Nicals (Bodmin) and have recently released a 5 track demo "The Penny Drops". They are still recording more cds so keep an eye out for Hidden Appeal.
