Penzance based guitar tutor Tracy Story has just released a new CD of instrumental rock guitar music. It is the eagerly anticipated follow up to his 2004 debut 'One Small Step'.
The new album is called 'Oh Brother'. It is an homage to Tracy's younger brother who he lost tragically back in 2005. Says Tracy of the album, "It was a hard one to get through. Every song on the album is about some period of our lives together. It runs chronologically. It's taken so long because I had to do this album before I did anything else. More than being a requiem, it's a celebration of someone's life who was very dear to me. I'm very proud of it too, because it's my first all-instrumental guitar album."
This album is also the first on Tracy's own label, Gorp Records.
The album is currently available from Mounts Bay Music at 39 Causewayhead in Penzance. It will be available from cdbaby.com in the next week or so and is due for arrival on iTunes and other major online digital retailers at the beginning of August.
There will be a release gig at the Acorn Arts Centre on the 27th of July featuring MILF and the Magic Tones and Devil's Creek as support. Tickets will be £6 in advance or £7 on the door.
